I'm so sad. My precious Pepsi is sick. He has a stone in his bladder. Daddy & Mommy said he couldn't urinate for a whole day. Poor thing... So today, brought him to Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital, East Coast branch.
The vet did an x-ray on him and saw that his bladder was very full and there was a stone in the urinary tract. So the vet explained that they would run some blood tests on him, and if the results are ok, they'll do an operation on him tmr morning to remove the stone. But in the meanwhile, they had to insert a tube up, through his penis and push the stone back into the bladder so that he can pass out some urine and relieve the bladder. Poor thing!!! That must have hurt him like hell!
I went out to the reception to get admission papers signed, and then waited a while for them to do the procedure. After that, went back in to see him. He had a drip on the front right leg, and another tube draining his urine from his penis. He was locked up in a metal cage, his eyes were all wet and looked very scared.
I was very sad too. I could see from his expression how much pain he was in. Tmr morning, they are going to do the op on him, and hopefully it goes well. And then he can be discharged by Tuesday.
You'll be alright boy, you'll be alright. Doc says it's a minor op. I know it hurts, but it'll just hurt this once, but you'll be back to normal after this...

aiyo... so heart-pain to see the poor pup this way...
Reminded me of when i sent my hammy (Coffee) to the mt pleasant animal hospital near thomson. She bit on some wire and was seriously burnt, and we found her hiding in a corner sqeaking away in pain, whole mouth & tongue swollen beyond imagination. I cried so much that someone at work thought i've lost a family member. Sigh..
Wishing Pepsi a speedy recovery. Bounce back soon you cute royal doggie!!
